It was 4 day weekend and that typically calls for a road trip to a new place- this weekend it was prefect park goin' weather and Mannheim isn't too far!
Cage free storks! Super cool- there're about 3 feet tall and just roaming around the park! Anyone wanna pickle (Vlasic) or a baby??? This is your place!
The chickens were checking out the storks nest:) Aren't they just too cute!?
Not sure what's happening here- she just took a break to brush her hair? She carried this bag the entire day- maybe this is a sample of whats to come…..
Miss Independent climbed all over the play structures- no shoes required (very German of her).
It was really beautiful, clean and family friendly! We have often commented about the German parks- they really do the upkeep and take pride in these spaces- it is not uncommon to see many folks just napping about on the grass:)
Yep! There's our lil man hammin' it up! The Chinese gardens were amazing!

There were a couple of these bridges and a tiny barefoot path tucked away.
This was a very fun fountain! The chickens enjoyed running around the waves of brick.
And we ended at a midlevel kinder park and these HUGE popsicles. (This made have been in bad judgement- there was a meltdown in more than 1 way).
We will be going back- definitely recommend!
