Sammy's 1st day of Preschool!

The First Day of Preschool For Our Little Man
The time has come, our Sam Man started big boy school today!  Daddy joined us for drop off.  Mrs Lalita and Mr Harry greeted us as we unpacked and settled in.  After washing hands and a story Mom, Dad and Caroline blew him a kiss and said goodbye- he was perfectly fine with us leaving.  This boy has so much confidence!

in they go!

wash up after you unpack

Mrs Liz started by reading a story on the carpet

he looks pretty comfortable- his confidence made drop easier for Mom:)

After School
It was a good day for Samuel!  He was having fun on the playground when I came to pick him up and had that sweaty boy thing going on! Here he is rocking his lego backpack as we head home for lunch (its ALWAYS a peanut butter sandwich- he's pretty particular about lunch LOL)!

They read "The Kissing Hand" and he wore
this sticker on his pinky all morning!

Lin's 1st week on Kindergarten!

Lin is now a kindergartner!!!  A week has gone by and she's still loving every part of school!!  She especially can't wait to have a school lunch (must be a fantasy about cafeteria food LOL).  She started school with a smile and came home giggling- and this morning she was up happy and ready for very first show&tell!  One week down 51 to go!

She packed up all her supplies and followed her big sister out the door.  We brought Annabelle to the playground to line up with her class and then Lulu and I went to the kinder building!

All the wee Kinders waited outside to be greeted by their teachers- Mr Gleason gave us a warm welcome!  Parents were anxious and the kiddos were a tiny bit nervous but most of the class was all smiles and full of giddy energy:)  Lu was definitely ready after a little pep talk I took her inside and we got her all settled in.

isn't she adorable?!

Ms Z, the assistant teacher, was at the classroom door helping the kiddos graph if they had home lunch or school lunch (I now know that a school lunch is the "coolest" lunch ever!).  Then it was to the carpet for the rest of the morning routine- blue folders are turned in first, then lunch boxes go in a big basket by the door, the students share closets with hooks for jackets and backpacks, and there is a name printing page each morning waiting at their seats:)

this was sent home on the 1st day:)

some of us aren't morning people and some of us are loony

Lin made the red apple!!

After school on Friday we spent time at the park!
It was a GREAT week!
There she is and before we know it she'll be off to college…….play hard, learn lots, have fun and know you are loved little one!!!!!

Happel Appel

Happy Fall Y'all! School is starting next week and the weather is changing- time for APPLES!
We found Happel Appel in Mainz and we were not disappointed!
Mrs Shanda and Miss Lakon accompanied us on our adventure!

After the picking fun and sampling there were plenty of baked goods and sweet treats!
We even saved extra special apples for our teachers on the first day of school!
