Every year the same thing happens……..
I ask my children to do 4 things
~ Sit Still ~
~ Be next to their siblings in a loving manner ~
~ Look at the camera ~
~ say CHEEEEESSE (smile, even if its fake) ~

The Beginning: My heart is full of hopeful thoughts that we can finally pull it all together for that perfect picture- the one we frame and place above the fireplace. My mind is full of crazy ideas to get them to smile and I formulate a plan that has to be executed without a hitch.

The Middle: We are doing pretty good, now if only we can get eyes on the camera- husband is enlisted to help usually against his will (by threats of giving him the project next year).

The End: We end our Kodak moments hoping that when I upload the pictures there will be something fabulous there…….and we usually get some wonderful stuff (my children are great models) but we have yet to capture that prefect shot with all 4 smiling. It's what I call a beautiful mess- 2 kids smiling, 1 crying and the other picking their nose.
