Team Haines spent part of Memorial Day weekend remembering our fallen. We took a trip to Luxembourg to visit the American Military Cemetery and pay our respects. Less than 2 hrs from our German home is a little piece of American soil covered in white crosses.
This was a history of what America stands for and the price of freedom.

Luxembourg City is a beautiful place and this rainy day may have kept us inside but we were still able to see that this place is full of eye candy- our next trip we hope for clearer skies so we can really see the sights!
We found a Cora (this is the closest thing to a Walmart we've seen). We did a bit of shopping and found new boots for the girls, some house ware items, delicious carb options and even some Belgian beer!
