Cowboys for Heroes

We had a yeehawing good time this afternoon at the Cowboy for Heroes event at Fort Sam.  We have looked forward to this cowboy day each year and have always returned home happy, tired, well fed and dirty! 

 Linley was arrested and sent to jail by the cowboy sheriff.

There was horse watching and horse riding.....

 Cowgirl Belle roped a longhorn!

 Hayrides, horse drawn carriages, even a trolly.....but best of all were these 3 Sicilian donkeys named Taco, Nacho, and Chili!!!!!!  We got a buggy ride from these cuties-super fun!

The chuck wagons were cooking up some great campfire meals.  We dined on huge hamburgers, chili, cobbler and more......
