Maurice the Caterpillar

The best thing about my teachers are that they teach me stuff- my favorite unit this year was dinosaurs!  The thing I looked forward to at PreK was going outside!  The most important rule of PreK is to follow directions but I’m not sure why.  I am going to Kindergarten to write and learn because when I grow up I’m going to be a racecar driver- with a red car of course!

Cinai the Caterpillar

At school I am really good at listening!  I’ve learned all my letters this year in PreK and I’ve made friends!  Next year at school I will be learning a lot because I am going to follow directions.  The most important PreK rule is to sign in your name, then wash your hands, and sit on the carpet- this routine makes for a great day of learning!  I’m working hard in school so one day I can be firefighter- I will take the fire out of buildings!

Linley the Caterpillar

In PreK my favorite thing to do is paint!  Thanks to my teachers I have improved writing my name especailly the letter Y.  The most important rule in PreK is to follow the directions! I have enjoyed learning German from Miss Angelika and I like it when Miss Alex sings to me!  I’m heading to Kindergarten to learn my letters because when I grow up I am going to be a cake and donut maker! (Miss Angleika says being a Princess is not a job but I’m going to be that too).

Aubrey the Caterpillar

I enjoy going on the computers the most in PreK.  I have learned lots this year like counting and writing my name!  The most important rule in PreK is to be good.  Next year we have to go to Kindergarten because we are getting too big and we want to.  I am a super artisit and one day I want to be a babysitter and ice cream maker! I will always remember playing in the block area with Miss Angelika and singing with Miss Alex!

Haley the Caterpillar

In PreK this year we have been busy singing songs and doin’ areas- my favorite area is the kitchen with my pal Lily!  The most important thing to know about PreK is that we have to clean up.  Next year in Kindergarten we will be playing all day.  I have enjoyed getting hugs from Miss Alex when we sing the good morning song and listening to Miss Angelika when she says to clean up.  When I grow up I am going to be a racecar driver with a yellow racecar.

Lily the Caterpillar

I have made some great friends this year in PreK.  The most important thing to know about school is that there is no playing in the bathroom.  I know how to write my name, count and my all my letters!  I am not sure why I am going to Kindergarten but I think its because my mom makes me go.  When I grow up I am going to be a racecar driver with a blue car!

Myja the Caterpillar

This year in PreK I have been busy learning about dinosaurs I think, as well as, underwater things like sea urchins and red starfish!  If I were the teacher I would teach my class about rainbows!  I like that Miss Alex always wears pretty outfits and Miss Angleika teaches me good stuff!  The most important rule in PreK is no picking your nose in public!  I am ready for Kindergaten because I am big and one day I’ll need to make money.  I have plans to become a designer and the clothes will be sparkly!

Andrew the Caterpillar

I have had lots of fun this year in PreK playing and learning.  The most important thing to know about school is there is no crying if we get mad.  I am ready for Kindergarten- we are going to learn about new places and we do not know everything yet (but we will soon)!  I like my teachers because they let me play!  I have big plans to become a doctor when I grow up!

Alaina the Caterpillar

This year in PreK I have learned how to wite my name, I have become great at art and I know that I love Fridays!  Next year in Kindergatern I will learn to read stories to my friends and how to play tricky games.  I have enjoyed playing with Miss Angelika because she sits criss cross applesauce and the calendar is fun!  Miss Alex tells funny jokes and teaches me about my homework!  The most important rule in PreK is to treat others the way you want to be treated.  I am going to be a racecar driver one day!

Magnus the Caterpillar

I have had a fun year with my teachers and friends.  I have learned about space, dinosaurs, plants, letters and how to speak some Deutch.

our once tiny caterpillar are now butterflies!

~10 Hungry Caterpillars~

Once upon a time there were 10 tiny hungry caterpillars.   These were the best and most special caterpillars in all the world- they were hungry for knowledge and ready to learn all they could about the world around them!  They came to the small garden and met 2 busy bees one September day.  The bees fed them knowledge about school, rules, letters, and how to write, but they were still hungry!  So in October and November the bees taught them even more- the caterpillars were really beginning to grow in this safe and very fun small garden but they were still hungry!  December came and the 10 caterpillars wanted to learn even more!  Januaray, February, March and April flew by as the caterpillars ate information on space, dinosaurs, ocean, frogs, science experiments, plants and so much more- but they were still hungry!  The month of May arrived and these 2 busy bees had fed the caterpillars so much that the once tiny creatures were growing so big and big change was coming their way!  The bees then told the hungry caterpillers about a new garden where they could eat even more and satisfy their learning appetites- the Kinder Garden!  All 10 of the caterpillars were sad to leave there comfy and cozy, safe and very fun small garden but they were still so hungry!!!  As the weeks in May passed one by one the caterpillars realized their hunger was a never ending quest for answers and a life long learning journey- a product of being fed by their amazing teachers the 2 busy bees!  As they said goodbye to the bees on the last day in the small garden with a very full belly and confidence to take on the world, the caterpillars set off for the Kinder Garden and spread their wings- the big change had happened- the hungry caterpillars were now hungry butterflys!!!

Haley, Lu, Alaina, Lily

we ended with a bang!

We had the BEST teachers!  They were an A+ team!  Angelika & Alex thank you for the "strong beginning" you gave our Linley!

this is the goodbye song- sang every day at the end of school:)
Auf Wiedersehen!
